I'm trying to modify the layout template under the board tab. I have not changed anything yet. When I press the board tab, it starts to load, but at the very last moment it blanks out and says the page couldn't be loaded. I tried the forum wrapper tab, and it loaded fine. i am on an iPad using safari. Disney Isle

Have you tried this out on a normal desktop? Does it work fine for you there?
Update/Edit: I tried this out on the office iPad and everything loaded just fine for me on your forum. Can I ask what version of iOS/Safari that you're using?

I don't currently have access to a desktop.
I'm using version 6.0.1.

I updated the office iPad to the same version as you, and attempted again. No issues yet. Can you check this again to see if perhaps we fixed this with yesterdays/this mornings code update?

Hmm, no. It still does it.
I have gone over my download limits and have been reduced to dial up speeds. Could that be affecting it?

It's possible that the speed may play a role, but before we hop to that step would you be willing to give something a try? On the iPad, visit the main Settings app for your device. Once there, press on "Safari" in the left sidebar. Once there, toggle the "Private Browsing" switch to "On". In the popup that displays asking to Close all pages, press "Close All". Once this has been done, launch Safari and see if this makes a difference when attempting to modify a layout template

Thanks for giving it a try anyway. Just to get an understanding of the internet speeds you're dealing with, can you download the speedtest.net app from the app store on your device (it's a free app) and give that a run. Once you did the speedtest, post a screenshot of your results
