As it stands, when you upload a 150x150px avatar, that's how it displays (at that size). In v4, if you use a 100x100px avatar, you could set the dimensions to be 50x50px and it would resize it to that.
This would again be in the profile settings per user.

I can make a note in our ideas list about this. In the future we will review it. If we like the idea, then we will devlop it further at that time. That means it could be a while before it's added. Keep an eye out for it in one of our updates after launch. Thank you.

Allowing us to have bigger avatars again would be nice too. I'm used to having my avatar at 250x300 on v4, and having to have small avatars on v5 is a major setback.

As an admin you can still make your avatars however big you want. In v5 we increased the max size from 100x100px to 150x150px. But just like v4 you can edit things. v4 doesn't allow the sizes you were saying by default. The same is true of v5. Do a search or ask for help in the general v5 board for instructions on how to increase your avatar size.
