Hello!

I'm sure I'm gonna need WAY MORE help on V5 Things, since I'm SUPER DUPER confused by this stuff. The layouts look weird, some codes aren't working, I have to download plugins and do this and that. And one of the problems I have is the logo. I already have a Photo I fixed up on a Photo Editor and I added some text to the Photo. And I'm using it as my Header. But I guess Proboards already applies a text logo. But I can't find a way to delete it. I found the transparent button, clicked on it, but it's just light grey letters that you can CLEARLY see [ well I can ]. Is there any way to DELETE the logo than make it TRANSPARENT.

Hi SuperNita ~ You're in maintenance mode so we can't access your forum.

In admin go to Themes > Theme Manager > There find your Theme Name, Click on Settings. There you'll find Forum Title with three options "Do not Display a Title", "Display Forum Name" and "Display Logo".

Were you able to find the remove Forum Title and do so?


As far as quick ~ I happened to be looking in and saw your post ~ and knew it was a question I could help with.

For this question, it was ok to have it in maintenance mode. That's why I could answer.

After you remove the type ~ you'll go to Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS and use the Visual Editor. The nice thing is you'll be able to see exactly what changes you are making with the image of your board appearing next to the coding area. So don't hit "save" until you are pleased with the results you see.

So there's a DELETE button for the Logo that pops up on the Header? I'll check and see...

Did you follow these steps? It's a dropdown menu with three choices.

How odd. I won't be able to access your forum, so you'll have to wait until support can arrive.

You didn't fill in any code in the Visual editor until Banner Text, did you?

So what you're looking for is to use your created image at the top above the navigation bar with no 'header' background? Like this?

If so you need to go into the settings described above and select the 3rd option 'Display Logo'. Make sure that you have uploaded a logo into that theme (Theme Manager->Images->*Upload Logo in Logo spot*). Then, go into the Easy Theme Creator, look under the 'Forum Banner' options and set them as follows:

Banner Height: *height of your image unless you want blank space around it*

Banner Color: Transparent
Banner Image: None
Banner Position: Left Center (or really whatever)
Text/Logo Align: Center (if you want your image centered)
