Will all boards upgrade

Question guys,

Even if I do not upgrade my board to v5 at this time will my board have to be upgraded down the road.   If it does then I would rather do it now and get it over with.   Thanks guys.   I look forward to your response

Hi jonasher4,

Forums will be upgraded to v5 automatically on April 29th. Since there's still some time, if you haven't given v5 a try just yet you may want to make a test conversion of your forum using the betazone process at www.proboards.com/betazone -- this will allow you to create a temporary copy of your forum in a v5 environment to let you know what to expect when your forum converts, as well as will allow you to become familiar with the new features of the software before actually converting your forum

i am currently in q for upgrade and I am number 19.   I think I should hold off with putting in codes then until the upgrade?   Is that correct or will anything i do in beta come over naturally during the procedure.   I am messing around with things now as we speak

You can export themes and plugins from your beta forum to your actual forum when your actual forum upgrades to v5. Since the beta forum is completely separate from the actual forum, anything you do in the beta won't carry over automatically. You can use the changes you make on the beta as a template for when your forum actually converts though, so that the change over will be quicker for you in the end
