Changing Something Back To Default....

Hiya, 
Just out of general curiosity - when it comes to themes - is there a way to change just one part back to default? 

In particular I am talking about the mini profile here.  When I first changed to V5, I really missed the boxed/centered mini profile and I got someone to work on it for me.  I love it.  The thing is, I also love the fact that you allow avatars at 150x150 size now and was thinking, how cool would it be to have them at that size.

However, I tried to amend my "admin" account one and when I checked a topic I had created by that account it's cutting off some of the avatar and I know it's down to the code I have in place for the mini profile.  So my question was as a quick solution could I hit default on the layout for the mini profile - or would it turn the complete theme to default?

In Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Mini Profile

If you click on "You can reset this template to default." it will reset just THAT part of the template (Aka. your mini profile) back to its original state of version 5.

Thanks. I'm waiting on a reply to a message first but at least I know I can do that if need be. I need to do it with my 60 plus themes. What a drag. Hoping the message I sent to Shorty will give me a better and easier and different way of doing it

Hi, Mands.

There's no reset function that affects all themes universally.

However, any avatar resizing codes would likely be in your forum's Style Sheet.

Thanks for the response Brian. However, I have been able to find a way that I can make my avatars, not at the full recommended size of 150x150px but at 130x130 and it fits in my special mini profile layout template that Shorty made for me. The edges of the avatar also line up with the edges of my info box above and below the avatar. So I'm pretty happy with that. The only thing I need to change is my avatars - I will make them all 130x130 - and really that will take no time at all. Remember, that I'm the only person making changes affects, as I am the only member on my site.

Oh, and meant to say that I already knew there wasn't a way to turn ALL templates back to default in one click, I knew I had to do it individually. I also know that I could make that area bigger with my mini profile template in place to accommodate the 150x150 avatar - but by doing that, it made my posting window much smaller which I didn't like.  One solution leads to another problem for me it would seem.  

I have been talking with Stinky666 on another topic - and I may end up just going to default after all - it wouldn't take too long to go through all themes and hit the "reset to default" I will have to let go of my mini profile background pictures however, because the text is not clear enough on the default setting with an image behind it, but that's okay. I can just disable the plugin for it, rather than delete it and lose all info, should I ever want to bring it back.
