Forgive me if I've missed it. I did look for a subject before posting this.
I miss the ability to easily use navigation button images. I can see the images there in my custom theme images page of each skin but I don't see any easy way to actually use them in place of the text menus supplied by V5.
I have images for each of the 12 skins on our board and yet I don't see any way other than perhaps code or a plugin to make it happen.
Has anyone already done this on their board?

I would love it if the same page that holds all the images also had a section that allowed the upload/linking of images for the navigation items.

Greetings,
The navigation in V5 doesn't use images, only text. This is something that can be done by plugin or template modification.
ProBoards may however consider the addition of images as an option for navigation elements.

I really used that functionality in V4.5 and would greatly appreciate it if it would be reinstated in V5.

While I'll admit that it requires some knowledge of CSS to pull off, I've been dying to have easily-styled text-based menus. Going from 9 images to 1 image is both much easier to edit (want to add a new button, no problem) and is faster (enjoy your 8 extra HTTP requests!).  Just something for people to consider as an option. |

This can be easily done with plugins and template modifications. That being said we do have an idea already on our list for adding images to the navigation page and letting people customize. But it will be a while and we still have a way to go to figure out exactly how we are going to deal with different images for different themes.
