Every single time I click on my members, I am getting a different visitor survey popping opened on a new tab. Once I thought, ok, so this is something new, but every single time? I am updating all my character's avatars and it's happening every single time I go back to my members and it's a different survey. I don't think I have to tell you how freaking annoying that is. I'm paid to be ad free and I get that this isn't an ad but a survey but I am sure I am not the only one to not want to be hit with this every time they click on "members" can it be changed or stopped? I hope it isn't a daily thing. Sorry. But it's really irritating me. Thanks.

Don't worry about it, I figured out that it was something that Google Chrome managed to install on my browser called Delta and Yontoo - I uninstalled Delta and thought that's all I'd have to do, but saw this Yontoo thing as an extension and I've taken it down and since doing that, it's stopped. Thanks. Thought it was a ProBoards thing.

I removed it from all my addons, removed ti from my list of installed programs, reset my home address for browsers, but every time I open a browser, it's set as my home page!! But yeah anyway lol..

Yeah, you need to go into your settings and actually re-set your home page to whatever it used to be. I was having that problem too even after I uninstalled it and now thankfully it's gone. Try going to your settings and re-setting your home page to whatever you had it at before. Mine has always been my ProBoards writing site.

Glad to hear all is well. ProBoards doesn't use popups for any advertisement/survey/etc.

That's what I thought the soon as I asked about it, which is why I then went to look into it further. Stinky666 - Just realised you said you had re-set your home browsers... hum, not sure, as it worked for me... I did it by going through my settings and it worked for me...

Stinky666 Delta is malware and you'll want to get rid of it. Have a read here.

Grr, thought it was just a sneaky extension/ad-on, thankfully after you posting that, I have gotten rid of everything associated with Delta. You have to be really careful with adding on things now, that bloody Delta came with Google Chrome. Ugh.

Something else I need to ask in general and not to do with ProBoards - but of those who have Google Chrome are you finding that a lot of your registered sites don't stay logged in? ProBoards does, Facebook does, but I also have a download diary that never stays logged in and my image hosting site imgur never stays logged in either. I am sure there are others... but anyway, was just wondering if you guys experienced that too and if not, did it happen at some point and was there something you did to fix the issue?! I have tried googling and went onto many forums about the topic and lots of people have the same issue but there has been no proper answer to it.

I cannot speak to most of those issues, but as an Imgur user, they have very short log in sessions.

I'd have thought that meant that you'd get to stay in forever, such as the "remember me" for ProBoards. Confused.com LOL

Always assumed it was just a problem with their end Well I have to log in every single day, even if it's been less than 24 hours. That's why I figured that it was a chrome issue. It's not really that much of a bother to start typing my username because the "remember me" is already ticked and chrome automatically fills in the rest of my info. It was more curiosity that made me ask than anything else.

I tend to use one of the OAuth options anyway.
