Strange News Fader Behaviour

I made up the beta zone test upgrade to this forum:

The news fader looks a little bit strange now:

1. It does not accept BBCode any more for text formatting (e.g. ). I removed it, but it looks poor now.

2. All texts are displayed at the first go, then it starts again with the first one. But instead of swapping to the second all texts are running through rapidly backwards. It starts again normally, first text after the last one, and running backwards again.

I am wondering if anyone else observed this already. Probably it related to the browser; I use SRWare Iron on Windows 7. Google Chrome is not very smart in handling Java.

Hi mtce,

1. Unfortunately the news feed has limited BBCode support due to the simplicity of the news feed. It's likely that more functionality will be added to it over time, however

2. The way the news feed scrolls as you described is intended and not a bug.

Thank you for your quick response!   I can live with the new "feature". By the way, the v5 seems to run quite smoother on Chrome than the old one. Good job.
