Sidebar help? D:

I looked around for a while trying to make sure it was alright to post here, so if not, I want to apologize, but I have a question dealing with the V5 side bar plugin. So I figured I should post it in the discussion of it, if not... again, sorry.

I installed it and got it working rather good in the beginning but the moment I added a 3rd and 4th one the coding really messed up on me, the only way to fix it is to erase the coding before hand.. However, I'm sure their is another way, or so I'm hoping.

Here is the current board I'm working on, it's a copy of my original board.

As you can tell I'm trying to bring over the side bar information, I'm still a little new on all the V5 stuff so any help should be detailed if I need to go anywhere else, thank you to anyone that helps.

Hi keitatheprince,

Rather than the plugin that you're currently using, can you try using this one instead? I believe there's an issue with the plugin that you're currently using as there have been a few complaints, but Brian's sidebar plugin there works pretty well, and has a similar layout to the one you are using which should make it easy for copying and pasting over your content

Alright, I have given this a ago and it's working so much better, Thank you so much,though the only issue I'm having now is that they are very close together, well more so the main board is covering up part of the side bar

Glad to hear that's working better for you! If you want to adjust the space between the side tables and the forum itself, visit the plugin settings and then click the "Other Settings" tab. The Forum Spacing option there should allow you to adjust the gap

Alright, I've done that, thank you, it seems to have fixed the problem perfectly! I have another question that is a bit unrelated to this topic, but I was wondering if their is a money pak code out for V5? My site really realizes on one because we do a reward system with it, and I have yet to find one at all, sorry for the random question but I just noticed the coding for it did not move over Dx and thanks again for the help!

There is a money plugin available at the moment that may be of interest. Look here and see if this does what you're looking to do

thank you, I took a quick look at it, it seems like it might do the trick, but I'm not sure if I can make 'multiple areas' like I can with the one I have now, I'll look through it a bit more but would I need to try and request a plug if it's unable too?

You could either request a new plugin, or reply in that topic to let Peter know what you would like the code to do just in case he can modify it to add those features in
