tabbed catergories

i was trying to achieve tabbed catergories like this [url=midnightcities.proboards.com/]forum[/url] but i haven't found a code or template modifier that will work.

i used that code and it worked, mostly, but it separated the info center out and stretched it to all mess and has this random bit of coding above it between and the board and it just says {/if}
