User option to disable css

Yes no? I think this may be useful, or a link we can click on that enable a really light 'default' css version in case we have a strong dislike for the forums theme?

If you disabled CSS you would basically be viewing the print version. We aren't adding an option to do this.

But you can do what you are requesting already. The admin/staff of a forum could create a theme that has no CSS fairly easily. Just make a new theme and delete it all. The forum would be nearly unusable but it would accomplish your goal. As a user you just pick that theme from your profile. That's it. A user option to disable CSS. Correctly located in the Settings tab of their Edit Profile and under the sub-heading of Forum Theme which is directly tied to CSS. Perfect.

Additionally if you didn't want all CSS disabled you could simply leave whatever CSS you wanted in the theme itself. Make it as minimalistic as you want.

The feature you are requesting already exists and to any degree that you desire. Though I personally wouldn't recommend going all the way disabled.

The down side to this method is obviously that you would need to request this of the forum staff if you were just a regular member. But once the Theme Library is online (soon, btw) it would be as easy as them clicking a button to instal a minimalist theme. You could even provide them the link. My point in mentioning the Library being that this will only get easier to accomplish as we move forward.

EDIT: Just so you know, I went ahead and made a No CSS Theme here on Support, just for you to see it. This literally took me 10 seconds to make.

Go try it out, Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Forum Theme > No CSS Theme

I think you'll appreciate why CSS is so important.
