My headers and footers look terrible, can I center them, increase the font size and add a colour?

Hi, sceadugenga1. Change the 000000 in green to your preferred hex color (you can generate hex colors using the color wheel button in any of your posts or in most areas of the Themes section of your admin panel). Change the number 12 to your preferred font size.

Greetings, Is this for the forum "http://dspoverseas.proboards.com/"? Take all that text and wrap it in a div: <div style="text-align: center; text-size: 12pt; color: #000000;">YOUR TEXT HERE</div> Edit the 12pt and #000000 as mentioned in Brian's post above to adjust size and colour.

Are either of the above codes not working for you?

Ok, I've done the centreing and it looks better but I can't work out how to change the color. I've changed the text size from 12pt to 24pt but it makes no difference. I don't understand how to change the 0000000

I gave you the wrong code. Find this: text-size: and replace with: font-size: As for colour, you can find colour codes with a color picker. If you want australianpensioner.org/ to function as a link, replace it with this: <a href="australianpensioner.org/">australianpensioner.org/</a>

Thanks for your patience, I'm now nearly there. Just got to figure out the colours.

OK, colours are done. What I'd like now is for my newsfeed text to be a nice bright standout red.

Both the news feed and the navigation tree use the same colors, which can be changed in Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS by selecting Header (Top) > Navigation Tree Container > Links and changing the value for Text Color.
