It's entirely possible that the issue has been fixed since you first posted. Let us know if it happens again.

Could you confirm that it's exactly the same error? Specifically, in this line: http://storage.proboards.com/f/admin.js?83:1425 Are the numbers at the end of that line exactly the same? If not, could you post what they are?

Hi Keith. Every time the numbers were always the same. I got irritated at having that pop up so I clicked the do not show again. Any ideas on how I can turn that back on? But at this time since the errors always had the same code the times I posted about it, I am going to say that yes they would be.

But at this time since the errors always had the same code the times I posted about it, I am going to say that yes they would be. It's entirely possible that the numbers have changed in the time between your first post and today, even though they weren't changing for you before. Every time we do a code update (push), the numbers will likely change. Anyway, to turn back on the warning, here's what I got from this page ( superuser.com/questions/240481/how-do-i-re-enable-unresponsive-script-warning-in-firefox): 1. Go to the url 'about:config'. 2. Search for dom.max_script_run_time. 3. Right click the row for that value and click 'Reset'. 4. Refresh your browser. The article seems to suggest only a refresh is needed, so try that first, but if that doesn't work, try all the steps. I appreciate your help with this... it will help diagnose the problem much faster.

Thank you for excellent instructions. I have done all that went to my test forum jha.freeforums.net/Clicked on admin > themes > Advanced Styles and CSS and sure enough I got it but this time the numbers have changed. Script: storage.proboards.com/f/admin_7.js:923
Hopefully, we can get this sorted out.

I'm fairly certain that the 'unresponsive script' is something that is running in the preview window at the bottom of the Advanced Styles page. (At a larger resolution it would appear to the right of the fields.) I still can't reproduce the problem, but I'd like to suggest that you create a new blank theme and see if the problem goes away. If that fails, try disabling your plugins one by one to see if any of them are causing the issue. If all else fails, you can install a Firefox extension called Firebug: addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/firebug/Firebug has a lot of cool features, one of which is to add a 'Debug script' button to the dialog which you are getting. If you click that button and take a screenshot of the window that pops up, that should help me pinpoint the cause of the bug pretty quickly.

Hey Keith, you make think I am crazy, but all this was happening while I was using a netbook as my pc was down for the count for a while. My pc is back and I went to themes - Advanced Styles & CSS and didn't get the error at all.I'll keep all your recommendations in mind and once I get my Adobe installed again and go back to making a theme I do as you suggested and make a new blank theme and see if that does anything. Thanks for the help and suggestions
