Hiya When I first converted to V5, I didn't like the fact that the borders didn't wrap around the side bar titles and category titles. Brian you told me what I needed to do to make that happen and I'm pretty sure it had to be done in all themes, which is going to be a tiresome job for my new question about it. LOL But how do I take it away from wrapping around the title bars? I've decided that it may look better without it wrapping around. I can't remember what I did to do it, so I need to know how to change it. Sorry. I've actually changed a lot of things back to V5 default because after a while I've decided that I liked it the V5 way! After all my moans initially. I'm terrible, I know.

Hi, Mands. In the Advanced Styles & CSS section, navigate to Body (Content) > Containers > Title Bars. You can set the Border Style field to none to get rid of the borders on your title bars.

Thanks Brian. It is really just to take it away from around the title bars - I don't want them taken away completely - as in I would still like it around the main part of the forum - just taking it away from wrapping around the titles - so is that still what I would have to do? Just to confirm.

That's what controls the title bar border, and it affects every title bar on the forum.
The ability to keep it only on certain parts of the forum depends on what you intend to do. You'll have to go into more detail.

I only want it away from the category titles and the sidebar titles - that's all. I would still like it around the main part of the forum and around the navigation tree bar etc., I'll show a screenshot which hopefully will help.

It's just that I saw another person's beta forum had it that way and that's the way I want it. So if the screenshot still isn't helping, can I post their link if I find their site?! To show you what I mean?

The method I mentioned should work then, as the navigation tree and the inner and outer borders of the content areas don't qualify as part of the title bar setting.

I thought it would, but as I am not overly technologically minded, I thought I'd confirm. Thanks Brian.

Just to confirm that I did what you suggested on my main "admin" theme and yes, that's exactly what I want and I much prefer it now. I can't believe that I have gone back to default on so many areas now. Haha. I still have to do it to all themes, but I'll work on that when I feel like it.
