Betazone Temporary Site Question

I seem to remember the end of April  (or was it August?) being the time when something happens to the temporary site. Is it when all sites (that have not opted out) get pushed out in an upgrade? Or is it when the Betazone test sites get deleted? Or both? I still go to my temporary betazone to test certain modifications before applying them to the live site. But I understand that the temporary sites cannot be maintained indefinitely.

29 April is when all V4 is converted to V5 (unless you opt out),

the betazone will continue for a while after, this was originally going to be a couple of months after release, but may have been extended due to the opt out.
