Something has changed a lot today.
All of a sudden lots of people using IE are inundating me with pleas, as they cannot access the forum and are getting error messages all over the place. Due to the other Ajax error saga with plugins, I have not changed anything for several days. I am not getting these new messages, I am on OSX (so no IE), but my site (and this one come to that) is very, very slow. One of my more literate users has provided me with an error message, but it doesn't mean much to me. Hopefully it will to someone else.

I'm looking into this with one of the devs. I'll let you know what we come up with. At this point I'm guessing this is somehow a component of us trying to fix the issue.

Could you have the users experiencing the issue clear their browsers caches and restart the browser? We think this may help, or resolve the issue.
Edit: I should mention that the reason we're going with a cache clearing is because me and Vinh tested this out with a couple versions of IE and got no errors.

Looks like people have been reporting that this has been fixed.
Also please note that ad-blockers are a violation of ProBoards TOS. Identifying that you have an ad-blocker is readily available information to any page that you visit on the internet, and is not an invasion of privacy.

As it was always OK for me, I have no way of checking, other than to ask around. Perhaps you could expand on your second point, as I don't really understand it? There are no ad-blockers on the site anywhere that I am aware of and I can see the adverts on every page when I am using Safari, so . . . .

I have passed this on and hopefully that will sort it out. Thanks for your help, on what was a very frustrating day. Using OSX, I didn't have access to IE and I was trying every browser I could get hold of, in every configuration I could think of to try and replicate the problem, without success. Even the Ajax error messages stopped this afternoon.
