Hi everyone
I dont know if this question has been asked but I have looked through the settings on our forum is there anyway that I can make a group of people viewing access only they can read the boards but not post anything?

Set a category and board within to non posting when setting it up in the admin panel

Thanks for the reply, we have two groups one that can post and one that I don't want to post, will it allow me to set it up this way?

Hey stevetw. Yes it will. Navigate to your admin panel and go to Categories and Boards. From here, you can access and set individual board permission configurations. To do what you're looking to do, you'll want to set all boards to be viewable and accessible by everyone, but restrict the replying to and creation of threads to the group that you want to be able to post. Additionally, to make it easier for them to organize and format your content, you can establish certain moderator powers for the group who can post, such as (but not limited to) the right to move threads from board to board and the right to edit others' posts. You can do that by going to Members > Member Groups and editing the group's "Powers" from there.
