Can't find what to click on Beta or v5, that we knew on v4?

Bottom line, There were many things I knew what functions they would do on v4. Some things are either replaced by plugins or renamed. (I'm not worried about the plugin,s since I know where to go to find those.) So instead of starting a brand new thread asking where this or that is on v5, I'm just going to use this thread.

This is an open thread for ALL of us to ask these things. So feel free to jump in if you have a question about where to click (on Beta or v5) to do things we knew on the v4 version.

My first question. I've looked over here (admin>themes>advanced styles and css>) to find the place where we can edit colors exactly the way I wish them to be. I can't find what to click on on that page that allows me to choose the board highlight color for my new skin.

If anyone knows, I'd much appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi Skidjit,

To change the board highlight color, on the Advanced Styles & CSS page, use the visual editor to navigate to Forum > Body (Content) > Lists (Boards, Threads, Posts...) > Rows > Highlight. The background color you set for this will be the board highlight color

Just to note, an even easier and perhaps less confusing way to do this would be to go to Admin > Themes > Colors & Theme Creator > Customize Theme Colors (it's a big button) > On the right hand side, it says "Highlight". Voila.

No problem.
1 thing that I did that helped, was just create a brand new theme that you don't plan to use. Use it purely for testing purposes, to see what does what, using the preview options available in the admin panel. Change colours, sizes etc of thing to see what everything is.
