Editing Profile on a MacBook Air

I have just converted my forum to V5 and one of my users reports the following issue:

I use a MacBook Air and with either Google Chrome or Safari as my browser, logging on is OK, but editing my profile doesn't work.  When I select Edit Profile and try to change the default avatar to a Proboards Avatar, there is an error message (without the software gibberish) and I can't go any further.

Any other Mac users have trouble?

Anyone have knowledge if this is a known issue? ( I did a search of the forum without success before posting this)

Might the proboards mobile app be an option ?

Can we get some more specifics as to what the error message specifically says?

This doesn't sound related to the mobile experience at all, since you can't edit your profile on mobile.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

The user has just come back to me and I quote him

 After a few more attempts, and for no obvious reason, I was able to get on with my Mac and using Google's Chrome browser.  

Don't think there is a bug-perhaps there was just a lot of traffic with the recent update?

Looks very much like it was not a Proboards problem at all, so sorry for inadvertently wasting your time and keep up the great work, as an aside I have just found the V5 has a much better search function that V4 and you can now look for strings of 3 digits which is great as we have model numbers
