OK I'm logged in to MY forum with internet explorer which seems to work sometimes.
I just don't know what to do, I'm going away for 5 weeks this week and I can't deal with this while I'm on the road.

Good morning sceadugenga1, I asked prior in this thread if you had happened to have any internet security applications on your machine (Norton, Trend Micro, Kaspersky, etc). Can you confirm? To that end, does your copy of Firefox have any add-ons installed? If the issue is truly present only in Firefox, it may be worth your time to attempt to uninstall and reinstall the program. I can't imagine why it would only be blocking JavaScript from your ProBoards admin panel and not also hampering the functionality of forums that you browse. We'll figure this one out!  |

OK, it appears my log in problems could be connected to old bookmarks which I'll delete and replace starting now. I'll reinstall Firefox later and see what happens. I can manage by switching from Firefox to IE when I want to do admin stuff but I'll have to do a refresher course in IE. I'll be honest, it's hard work, I'm on the other side of the planet as well which means you guys are usually goofing off in the sack when I'm trying to fix things here.  |
