For some reason I can see the urls, but not seem to make them clickable in betazone.
Not sure if I need a code or a plugin or if it's something I need to enable. I've been looking to no avail.
Please help.

Betazone should be the same as the regular V5 forum, first button in the last set of icons at the top of your message. Should give the option to add a link and what to call it? Is that what you were after?

Use the main reply box not the quick reply
Click where the red arrow shows in the screen shot
You get the box come up as seen in screen shot and fill in the spaces as explained (delete the text in there first though)

Thanks kman and lainey2712
Turns out my site was glitchy last night for some reason. It would not even let me delete a post. I was doing a lot of edits to the color schemes when I noticed my links were not clickable. I had not noticed that before. Now they are working. I thought it was something I did on my end.
Redbasset, first thanks for posting that code. Do you know if there is a way to make that code work in sidebars? I still think I'm doing something wrong somewhere. Thanks.

I'm having a similar problem, but the reply box on the board I am using doesn't have the link option come up like it does here. The board I am using is: www.todomeda.proboards.com/index.cgiWhen I try and Insert Hyperlink, all I am given is this: "[ url ][ /url ]" inserted into the post (the stuff between the quotes without spaces). I can paste the link in-between and it will show up, but I cannot rename the link at all. I have seen others on the board able to do this, so what's my problem? Has the board administrator disabled clickable/renameable links for some members and not for others? I tried using RedBassett a href= format suggestion, but that doesn't function either. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks. DaS

To rename the link using the old code, it would be like this: ProBoards

I think the side bars use HTML, so instead of [ and ], you'd swap those for < and >, so: Instead of: [ a href="URL"]Click Me[/a] It would be: <a href="URL">Click Me</a>

Shrike,
Thank you so much! That is it!
Every board should have a link to formatting options for THAT board near the bottom (or somewhere).
Thanks again Shrike,
DaS

That worked perfectly.
