I'm not sure if it's a bug or just something unavoidable, but: support.proboards.com/post/5251368when you use @ mini it changes to Mini (and a link). @mini It even does it in code tags, which surely it shouldn't, especially when it's part of a code that can be posted etc to help others

Hi Stinky666, When you use that, it will tag the account here on the support forum who's username is @ mini. So using that by itself in a post will tag that user rather than displaying @ mini (unless you break it up, like you did in your post). Tags shouldn't work in code boxes, however, so if that is the case that would indeed be a bug: @mini ^ I'll create a new ticket for this now with our developers. Thanks for the heads up

Thanks for the heads up Weirdly, I didn't even think about the tagging system. I just thought it was for some reason linking to something else lol. Glad it is a bug though in the code tags.

Thanks for the heads up I thought there was a bug report for this a while back but I couldn't find it here so assumed it was already known. In any case, I made a post HERE using various combinations of @, [noparse], and [code] tags which might be helpful. From what I can see, the @ tags will only not turn into the username if they are inside [noparse] tags, although if they are inside a [code] tag inside [noparse] tags then they will show.

It was indeed a bug back in December that was fixed, but it returned. The @ mini example was also the one used in the previous report
