For some reason I can't update the version number of a plugin, I get no green 'Saved' message either.
I'm running Firefox version 20.0.1

I can confirm that it's not working for you, or on my own test forum. I'll file a bug report now. We should be able to get this sorted soon.

Something has changed.. Now all of the plugin 'Settings' fields are blank and I've lost the change logs etc., and even though it's claiming to be saving the info as I enter it, it doesn't.
If it helps, Firebug is reporting the following error..
"NetworkError: 400 Bad Request - http://my-testing-forum.freemessageboards.com/admin/plugins/edit/29/save"

I've also just noticed that the variable names are not being inserted into the coding correctly either, the plugin's name is not included.

I already have a report in for the authors name not working. The inability to increment the plugin version also appears to be fixed. How is it working for you?
Edit: Just been informed that the authors name will not be important because that column is being removed in the next update.

wasnt "authors name" being used to keep 2 plugins from having the same name?

and I just checked and its still blanking all the data on the settings page and removing the code id from the variables on component tab.
Im looking at a betazone forum if that makes a difference

For the record the plugin information has been absent for weeks (?) in both Betazone and fully upgraded forums at least for me, here are screen grabs of a plugin on this fully upgraded (not Betazone) forum.

Chris, That plugin on that forum has loads of data for me. Weird. Could you test this out in Chrome and tell me if you see it there?
