Can't update plugin version number

That is super odd, I can see it in all of those browsers, on your forum. It's even the same plugin.

It wouldn't seem browser related, but its clearly ok on the forum side as well. I'll get a dev involved and see what I'm (obviously) missing.

It looks like this is something that we fixed internally (that I didn't know about of course) and has yet to get pushed. Should be fixed when we push later today.

Betazone forums can only get updates after the CSS borders are secured!!!
Seriously, are we about to lose our Betazones and should I be exporting any recently updated plugins and themes in preparation?

BetaZone forums have not received this push yet! They will in the future.


BZ forums are not going to be lost anytime soon, we will keep them up as long as they are being used, and rest assured that we will give you plenty of notice before we remove them.

I have no problem with starting a regular board, but all of my current saved plugins are non-editable. I need to re-export as editable or have to start all over. If the betazone boards get the push, THEN I can start the migration. thats all Im sayin.

Will there be a contingency plan put in place for authors who have exported plugins but forget to export an editable version thereby losing modification access to the plugin (I've seen a couple incidents already). I noticed the latest push no longer defaults to uneditable (must make a choice now) when exporting which is a step in the right direction but the possibility of the scenario still exists.

Wormo - I'll bother Martyn to push code to BZ forums as soon as possible. 

Eton - We don't have any plans for this as far as I know, this seems like a reasonable request to me.

If implemented, no solution should involve saving that info to the pbp file itself since I've managed to edit these files reliably on a computer including setting them from uneditable to editable and if I can figure it out then so could others. I recall very early in the alpha phase Chris mentioned using something a bit harder to break but it was dismissed as overkill.

I went ahead and made a task to do this. This obviously won't get done until the post-launch craziness dies down a little.

I can now see all the plugin settings, thank you, but I can't update it. I get a 'Server Error', blaming it on an angry bear.

I can't add any form fields to plugins either, with the same error popping up.

Martyn needs to do a database push to BZ forums. I just asked him to do that as soon as possible. Hopefully that means we'll get it done today before he leaves the office (if he ever leaves).

Yes it is! When I asked about it just now I got a "it's coming", but no date.
