If you type up a post and then submit it, but your lag spikes and it fails to submit, going back to the page which you typed the post in no longer contains the post you typed.

Is there a way to make this happen consistently? I've had this happen a few times to me and my post remained in the field.

Yes. It occurs every time I try to edit this post if I disable my internet connection. No matter what I do after that, whatever I type in the post field will revert to what it was before I changed anything after hitting Save Changes then going back.
Google Chrome, Windows Vista.

This is because you've disabled your internet connection. I tried testing this out with my own version of chrome (and disabling my internet) and the page cached for me. You might want to check out your preferences in Chrome.
