Theme library?

I have just noticed when i go to Admin> Themes, there is a new section " Theme library" well at least i can't remember seeing it before?
I can't access it at the moment due to some angry beer

"Browse themes made by other ProBoards members and install them on this forum."


Is this now going to share all our themes with anyone who is a PB admin?

This section is still under construction, but is being heavily focused on at the moment. Once complete, it will be an easy place to find new user-created themes for your forum.

Not to bombard or anything, but how would the themes get there? Would we submit them?

Yep! You'll be able to submit, and download themes straight from the theme library to your forum.

Just in case it isn't clear, sharing themes with other ProBoards' admins is strictly voluntary.  The theme creator can offer a single theme or many themes.  We can also decide NOT to contribute.  It is our choice.

So it is up to any forum owner where or not they have there theme in the library then?

By the whole "submit" idea, only themes you submit into the library, will be in there.

Now you've got it.  Yes.  Participation is completely voluntary.

I thought these would be private... that you would be saving them and if you wanted to you could share them with someone, another forum's admin, if you chose to. That this would be how you would do it.  Am I guessing correctly, that by saving a theme into the library this means it's going to be up for grabs publically?

That's correct, but you have to voluntarily choose to upload that theme to PB's theme library. We're not going to give everyone free reign over every theme on ProBoards as a whole.

So if it's been saved in "Themes Library" within our Admin panel, is that our own person library or is this the Proboards Theme Library?

Also, if it is up for grabs at least will we have the option to take it out of the library?

See, I have the most rediculous skin saved into mine. As mentioned I don't even have access because of the Angry Bear issue. It's a crazy theme only because I wanted to use it for refrence when I was testing out all of the different things to edit in the Advanced CSS area. I took notes so when in the future I would like to edit a certain spot on another theme.. I know exactly what to click on. So if it's out there for the public to see. LOL! It's wild to say the least. Not meant for use unless you have MY kept notes. Oh what have I done? LOL!

The theme library is accessible to anyone on ProBoards as a whole. If you want to save all of your own themes for yourself, you can download them to your PC or keep them in your Theme Manager on your forum.

Any themes you choose to submit to the theme library can be removed from the library.
