Experiencing a Problem going from Betazone to v5.

I'm guessing a bug is a code error that is really messing up the sites.... SO... I don't need to go over there to report this.

My admins on both versions are locked up. I keep getting the angry bear screen... Something about server issues.

SO, Does anyone know how long I get to keep Betazone before it's gone? I'd like to TRY to import a skin/theme from one to the other, if possible. Not to mention to see what other settings I put in beta that I need to reset in v5.


OR is this angry bear something I need to worry about? Something I can do from my end to make it go away?

Hi Skidjit,

There was a temporary issue that prevented you from being able to access the admin area of your v5 forum, but this should be taken care of now. Can you give it another try now and let us know if you still experience issues with it?

Finding bugs basically is as simple (or as difficult) as finding a feature that isn't working as it is intended to, or if something is not working at all or errors when you attempt to use it. If you do find a case like this, speak with another staff member on your forum to see if they experience the same issue. If someone else experiences the same problem as you do and is re-create able, then it's a pretty good chance that it's a bug that would need to be fixed.

Regardless though, if you have troubles with anything you can feel free to let us know so we can help get it worked out for you

OH and I just noticed that when i went to my theme library at my beta site. It's showing the angry bear. I'll give it some time then check it out later on tonight to see if it's been resolved.

It's not a problem. Do want to mention that the Theme Library (as well as the plugin library) are still a work in progress, which is why you will receive an error when attempting to access those. These two areas are expected to go live on or shortly before the official launch on April 29th

I believe these are the only two areas in the admin panel that you should expect an error from, though. Everything else should work. Just in case you were wondering

I may be wrong, BUT the Theme Library is just an addition that has yet to be completed.
I think it's there currently, in preparation of the launch, so then it can easily (or easier) be added, and makes us aware that it is there, or will be soon.

I have been wondering for a while, how moving a whole theme from one site to the other will work. I didn't know that it's still in the making. I just hope my Betasite stays up long enough for me to do the transfer.
