Plugin Developers

When checking the plugin area just now, I'm now seeing myself as the developer of all the imported plugins:

Any plugins the creator has marked as Editable when exporting will show with you as the developer, as you're able to make changes to the source code of the plugin.

This column is used to list everyone on your forum who has the ability to modify the plugin. You'll notice towards the bottom of an individual plugin's Build page that you can add members to this list.

Thanks Brian for the input, but it sure was not like that yesterday or even further back and only started showing myself today.

Just checked mine (link in sig) and it's the same - I'm listed in all but one. Certainly wasn't like that yesterday, or earlier today.

Me as well, and only 3 of my total plugins are editable, not all of them..

Just to add. Your PBN plugin or Classic Menu for instance, I have had for a day or two now, and they weren't (and aren't) like that for me when I imported it.

There is no doubt that something is wrong.

Having said... if one was to have issues with a particuliar plugin, how in the world would they know who to contact for help?

you can do this easily by going to the Thread, which has the plugin..

Seems like it's happened to me, too. Also, when I go to the "Build" section and click on an editable plugin, all the information is blanked out—there's no display name, no id, no changelog... it's all gone. Not sure if that's related, but it is strange that plugins I know had all that information suddenly don't.

(Is there a way the terminology could be changed, meanwhile, at least on the Build page? Say, call the column "editable by" instead of "developer"? It does seem pretty easy to misunderstand.)

I just added a thread in support because same thing is happening to the themes all the information is blank and this am it was all there and the permissions are even changing from all to staff or members. Very weird. Ghost lol

Tim Camara says that we've changed how plugin developers show. However, it's currently glitching out and always showing the main admin of the forum as a developer. We'll work to revise this.

mamagail48 - I can see the settings of your themes/plugins on newmgdesigns.net/ just fine. Is it still occurring for you?

K Phoenix - The plugin settings on turquoisetest.proboards.com/ show up for me, is it still happening to you?

  Tim Camara No its the same as it was. the options part of the themes is blank and the plugins are showing my name instead of developer. Been that way now for two days.

I just started appearing as the developer on all of my plug-ins ~ disabled and enabled. Including those I haven't even included on any theme yet.
