I know similar has been suggested (possibly by myself) before, but I think this way COULD work. I really hope you will consider it at least. Once you're on the full reply page, you have no way to see if other users have posted in the topic. A fix for this, could be a refresh image on the Thread Summary. Why not use the browser's refresh for this? Well I shall tell you: Whether you're in Preview/Visual, or BBCode and you have text in your text area, if you hit refresh ALL your information gets erased ( stuff in the text field doesn't though - if you're creating a new thread - which I know, this isn't needed for, I am just pointing that out )

There is no thread summary when you are creating a thread. We already took the time to add the feature that takes you to the oldest content you haven't read once you post. That takes you to any new content (or any old content you just hadn't reached yet in the thread). If everyone composing was seeing new posts as they appeared that would first be a huge strain on our servers (same reason the Shoutbox doesn't do anything unless you are actively using it) and second people would constantly be re-adjusting their posts based on other posts that were appearing preventing them from posting. People running game boards would be mad because people could cheat certain games. We do have plans to improve the thread summary, but none of them include a refresh. Things like a pagination or control of the order they are displayed in are on the list. Most threads aren't active enough to use this feature and those that are would be too active for our servers to mange the feature. Sorry, but we won't be adding this one Stinky666 Thank you.

I did actually say it wouldn't be needed for CREATING a thread I figured it'd be a long shot, but worth a go anyway. At least thanks for replying as always
