Hello everyone, I'm about to transfer my forum over to V5. To be honest i'm a bit nervous that it may create some chaos among some of my members and my forum is less than a year old and still growing (nearing 500 members) so i don't want to frustrate them and have them not return. So i'm trying to figure out the best way to transition into this new V5. Can i do something before hand to help them, what have been some of the commonly asked questions and concerns members have once members transfer over. How have some of you done the transfer and do you have any suggestions how i go about doing this to avoid any confusion and stop the confusion before it happens.
I would appreciate any input from those of you that have already done the transfer.
thank you in advance

RB Your best bet, in my opinion, is creating a Beta Forum, give your members the URL for it, and let them login and post, mess around etc. Then ask them all what they think of it, and any concerns etc To create a Beta forum: www.proboards.com/betazoneIt will duplicate your existing forum. Or you could just create a brand new, real forum: www.proboards.com/create-free-forumAnd do the same. Ask people to register and post around. Or heck, let them post as guests, but then they wont see all the fantastic new features.

I highly recommend testing V5 on a BetaZone forum first, as Stinky666 suggested. If you have any problems or questions regarding V5, please feel free to ask us anything.
