Can we have it so that the navigation menu is on a per theme basis and not global?
On certain themes for example I want certain menu's activated. Other themes I want different ones

I have just noticed, and I am not sure if this is new or how long it has been there, but when you add a new custom button, you can set the permissions for it. So you decide what themes it displays on.
Why is this not available for the default buttons? Could this be made to happen on the default ones, please?

Like I said you can use a plugin to do whatever you want with this. It was decided when we added permissions that you can't restrict certain buttons. They just don't make sense. Some buttons like admin already have permissions built in and others should be accessible to everyone if they are turned on. But if you really want to change that then you can use a plugin to alter things further. The decision for how features work is based off of normal behavior. Giving people the ability to change permissions on essential buttons just leads to us giving more support when people get confused about why they cant see something but another member (or account) can. As admin do your own thing, there's no one stopping you.

You idea is seriously plugin material. Like if I had to think up an example of something a plugin could be used for, your request would be a great one.

I completely understand about the whole support thing, but I guess I will pass on this completely then since I don't want to have lots of plugins for stuff, and I don't want to be making pre-made themes and making people use plugins either.
