Blockquote function

I would love to see the blockquote tag added to v5. So many people have used it all along in prior versions making it popular, it makes tables look better as well. It would save a lot of people from having to recode a lot of their templates so they would function properly on V5

Blockquote still exists. It just isn't a BBCode Image.

You can however add it yourself using a Plugin that exists, called UBBC In Quick Reply.

The plugin allows you to add your own custom bbcode, and add an image for it, to either: the full posting page, the quick reply, or to both areas.

Have a look in the Plugin Database.

I think for both tag and attribute, use blockquote
I honestly haven't used it for a while. Trial and error

Just found a test forum I used it on, and yeah. I have it as
Tag: blockquote
Url: image link
Name: Blockquote
Attribute: blockquote

Just to clarify something here, the old [atrb styles] do not work in v5, blockquotes still work though. But like stinky said, they're not on show in the ubbc images anymore. just type them in xD [ blockquote ] remove the spaces [/ blockquote ]

Saves a lot of time though having the plugin for it, and also shows every other member that it's still available

Thank you guys, now i've just got to figure out how to make my template tables from v4 work properly in v5

you're welcome, remove any [ style ] [ atrb ] tags and replace with [ div style="properties"; ] instead.

if you post a code in the testing board on here you can mess around with it to make it work right and maybe someone will come assist you I know someone did for me

or just post it here lol, remember to make sure you're in bbcoded version when copy and pasting. And use the preview tab to see if your code works. There is no need to click create with testing out codes in this way either.
