yes I am 100% positive its the correct password because I save all my passwords and I checked not to mention i write them all down. not to mention its the same password i use on my regular forum. I am trying to beta test my forum before the forced conversion to V.5 - and cannot because i cannot log in. as for the error message its provided in the screen shot i provided in my first post.

When you're resetting your password, are you putting in your email address? Try entering your username (for the account) instead, and resetting your password this way.

Steampunkprincess, what did you do to figure it out?
Michael Stone and RedBassett, those questions are basic and should be something that everyone should try first. It makes no sense that you would suggest any of that when changing by e-mail has always been and still is the main way everyone changes their password. How would entering the username help? I've tried that before with numerous sites and still had to rely on the e-mail function.
Anyways, I have a question of my own and hope you can help. In the previous version, I was not able to figure out the coding (as I'm horrible with coding as it is), in order to put a picture in a chart off to the right with other information under it, kind of like with Wiki and putting a persons picture off to the top right hand side and their name, birthday, etc below that and then adding text off to the left side without it advancing into the picture. Is this possible in the new version and how are we to do it?

In the previous version, I was not able to figure out the coding (as I'm horrible with coding as it is), in order to put a picture in a chart off to the right with other information under it, kind of like with Wiki and putting a persons picture off to the top right hand side and their name, birthday, etc below that and then adding text off to the left side without it advancing into the picture. Is this possible in the new version and how are we to do it? I always start with basic questions because the simplest solution is usually the correct one. The reason I asked them to use the username is because resetting a password using the email address resets the global account password, username (for an unlinked account) resets the password to the email associated with that account (instead of the global account email, which may be different). I've helped people with countless login issues and I learned long ago that it was usually something simple. I intended no offense to anyone asking basic questions. What you're looking for is either tables, or perhaps a custom posting template? There are also things like Brians Side Bar Redux Plugin here: support.proboards.com/thread/440272/plugin-sidebar-redux-1-3Edit: Also in the future, please create a new thread for a new issue, it helps create a nice archive for people who might have a similar issue, and prevents confusion within the topic.
