When editing a post can we PLEASE have that post show up immediately below the editing box? It is absurd to have to to all the way to the bottom to doublecheck what & where the edit(s) need to be made and then go all the way back up to the top of the screen to input the edits.
Thank you
(personal opinion: V5 sucks, and NOT it's not because it's 'new' or 'different'!)

If rejected as a feature, this should be possible as a plugin.

Why do you need to scroll down? You're in the post itself when you're editing? In v5 you can even view the post in Preview mode and edit it directly as it will appear. This feature is no different than v4 was. In every edit scenario I can think of I can't see why you would need to look at your post in the thread summary to make a decision about what to change. Read your post directly and make the changes. As RedBassett mentioned you can change this with a plugin or even a template mod. Part of what make v5 so great is your freedom to customize everything how you want it. I'm sorry you think that sucks. We already have plans to add features, including reordering, to the thread summary in the future. But that's all subjective. Because even if you reordered the thread summary (which is there for referencing the thread while typing replies, not for edits btw) if your post was earlier on the page it would get flipped and be closer to the bottom. So as long as you continue to use the thread summary for editing you will always have this issue. A plugin that grabs your current post from the summary and displays it above or below or side by side is probably doable. I suggest requesting a plugin in the Plugin Requests board. And perhaps consider not insulting the person or their work when you ask them for help. Thank you.
