Example: hgwrtsgalax.proboards.com/thread/3625/affilations-readThis is the second code tag problem I've had. For some strange reason, the code tag is making one large string of text. If I go to edit the post, it shows that there are line breaks in between each line of coding, however once it is posted, those breaks disappear and it's just one long line of text. This happened with our sorting application as well. That code was far more complex so you can imagine that didn't go over well. Fortunately, we have the post template code active so it wasn't too big of a deal. Is there any clues as to why the code tag is not allowing these line breaks? Despite it being in the actual post and even in the preview when the post is being done?

There is no reason it should do that, would you mind posting the bit of code that caused the problem here? (In a code box of course.)

So here is what we posted for our affiliates to fill out:
Name Of Site You Are Affiliating: Link To Site: Banner Code: Where Can We Find Our Banner On Your Site? Short Description of Site:[*/code]
Of course, remove the * in the last code tag but if it's not there, then it uses the first one to close the tags... But you get the idea Now, without the second set of code tags, here is what shows up: Name Of Site You Are Affiliating: Link To Site: Banner Code: Where Can We Find Our Banner On Your Site? Short Description of Site: If you look at the code itself, you can see that the actual text has spaces but once the code tags are used, those breaks disappear. Now, what's even more strange is that in preview mode, it looks fine...

I'm afraid I'm not seeing what you are. Breaks look correct in both posts, even copy+pasting seems to work.

Just loaded it up in chrome, and the problem doesn't exist on here. So it's only when I'm using IE10 in Windows 8. Maybe that will help to figure it out?

I tested this out in IE10 and it still looks fine there to me as well. I very seriously doubt that this could be caused by the OS. What about Firefox for you? (It also appears fine there for me as well.)

I actually don't have firefox installed on my computer. But I'm on my cell and still don't have the same problem... This is so strange. I don't understand why it's doing that on my comp... Oh well, as long as others don't have the same problem, I can deal with it. Thanks Michael!
