When I make changes in the theme colors for my beta v5 forum and click on "Save Changes" I get the following error message and my changes are lost: Error evaluating function darken object doesn't support this property or method. I get the same message for every theme and even when I try to change fonts. I've never had this problem before today. Can you help please? Thank you! Avjanet this is because you have selected transparent to something that has to be a color.

Thanks, but I don't think that's the problem. It's happening on all my themes and I haven't tried to change anything in some of the themes except the font color in the mini-profile section.
I just tried making/saving changes using Firefox instead of I.E and got a slightly different error message:
error evaluating function `darken`: e.toHSL is not a function

I get the same error as well and all I was trying to do was set a background image. Because of this error I can no longer change settings to the CSS. This error seemed to start just randomly appearing yesterday for me and I never touched 'darken'.
It's not just the visual editor either though, it's trying to change anything in the CSS...it always throws this error when I try to save and thus it does not save any of my changes.

I have had the same problem with my forum. coralmagic.freeforums.net/ It has already been upgraded to v5. The Editor stopped responding and gave the same message as avjanet and Ty cited. It won't save anything this morning, either. The CSS Editor is totally non-functioning. I was not working with transparent colors. But, I have a question. Why would there be a box to choose "transparent" if it isn't allowed for that section?

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with "transparent" for as I said this problem just started to randomly happen to myself and I was not messing with colors at all. I was simply just trying to change the body background image.

I just skipped over to talk to a dev about this issue, and they are currently working on solving the issue. Edit: I'm sure one of the Dev's might have questions, so please keep an eye on the thread.

Alright, thanks Michael and thanks for being quick and spiffy about it too like always!
*this is not sarcasm even though my proboards avatar might make it look like that...this is genuine appreciation*

I was centering the text in the avatar display section on the posting page. I always got the message mentioned above.
Thank you for working on this. Right now I cannot use the Editor at all.

BTW, sorry about the double post. I am dealing with captcha because ProBoards won't let me log in. That has also been going on all day.

Hi avjanet, Ty, and Dr Sylvia, I've taken care of this bug, and it should be pushed out live sometime in the next 24 hours. It is technically a transparency-related bug, even it had nothing to do with what you were changing. Actually you can hit Save without changing anything, and it would still trigger the bug. If you need to work on any themes before the fix goes out, you can work around the bug by finding the variable @title_bar_background_color, and set it to a real color rather than 'transparent'. Once the fix is in place, you can change it back to 'transparent'.
