menu bar not working

was doing good got everything to work ...now my menu wont work anymore

You'll need to change the z-index to 1 not negative 1 (-1) as I did below in blue:

.menu { position:fixed; top:250px; left:600px; z-index:1; }

Now my menu is over all my boards

Sorry for the delay responding. What do you mean, "All over the boards"? Your menu looks fine to me and what I told you should not have changed the position of any part of the menu. It just moved it on top of the layers.

when i change the menu to 1 it makes it stop working, the only way i got my menus to be clickable was to move it to the side so that it wasnt above the table which was doing something to make it non clickable

Awww, o.k. You may need to make that z-index 2 as you have this that has a z-index as 1 too:

<div style="position: fixed; top: 250px; left: 50px; z-index: 1;"><center><div id="menu_div"></div></center>

Could be that bit was on top of the menu links.
