There were some server adjustments taking place last night that might have contributed to this. As you posted these reports some time ago, a solution may have already been applied - are either of you still having trouble with proxy errors at this time, nowdocking, akvikefan89?

Just to update on my board (link above) - I was experiencing the slowdown that seemed to affect everyone earlier, but that now seems to have resolved.

However, I just went to make a post and got this message again:

Ditto here for anyportinastorm.proboards.com -- very slow and getting the Proxy Error message off and on since last night.

We have reported this to the developers and they are working on the issue.

Approximately how long does it take for the proxy error message to appear for you? Instantly? 10-15 seconds?

Michael, for me it takes I would guess about 20 seconds before the message appears.  It just *feels* like an hour and a half!   Before that, it looks like the page is trying to load, but it doesn't.

Also to let you know that it's happening again on my board.

How often can you reproduce the problem? Can you get it to happen from the quick reply, or just the full posting page? Does it happen when you try to post an attachment (by any chance)?

When it's happening, I'd say about every 3rd or 4th page load.  It happens when I'm just browsing or when I'm trying to submit a post.  I haven't used the quick reply box, nor have I been trying to attach anything when it happens.

Just sent someone a pm on my board and timed it - it took about 20 seconds to go through (as opposed to the usual less than five) but it did go through.

It took about 27 seconds this time, but it did eventually post.  So things seem to be working again right now at least, but they're really s l o w.
