hogwartsww123.proboards.comwe upgraded a while ago, but for the past few hours we've been having issues with slow lagging, and now they've increased dramatically.

Hey again grenjs, just wanted to pop back in and see how your forum was doing - has the error situation improved at all? Hi David. Everything was getting better, but this evening it's turned to poo-poo again. It's driving people away as they can't be bothered to keep reloading pages and deleting duplicated posts. I am trying to make a post right now and keep getting: "502 Proxy Error Proxy Error The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request POST /index.cgi. Reason: Error reading from remote server" It's all VERY frustrating to say the least.

We have already notified our sysadmins about this, and they are on the case.

grenjs, Approximately how long does it take for the proxy error message to appear for you? Instantly? 10-15 seconds?

How often can you reproduce the problem? Can you get it to happen from the quick reply, or just the full posting page? Does it happen when you try to post an attachment (by any chance)?

Add my forum to the one that is having issues. Examples: duplicated posts, lag time in posts appearing after hitting create post, as well as in PMs, and sometimes just a white screen with nothing appearing. A member got the angry bear when sending a PM and she lost her message. myhourglass.proboards.com

At the moment it happens frequently for all the members of the forum. Personally, I don't use the quick reply. For me and others, it happens when changing from the main forum index to a sub-board/s, when posting a reply, when responding/replying with quoted text etc. When checking PM's and replying to them. If you were to ask the percentage of times it is happening, I'd say about 40-50% of the time. It's pretty bad - again.

We're restarting some things, so the forum might slow down for a few moments. Please bear with us.

We're troubleshooting this issue right now, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Just trying to read a new post and got "This page took too long to generate and has been stopped. A log of this error has been reported to ProBoards Support."
