Okay, this might seem like a WHOLE lot, but I was wondering if there is a way to center everything in the boards on my forum so that each board is displayed as follows:
BOARD NAME DESCRIPTION SUB-BOARDS #THREADS | # POSTS LAST POST NAME - BY POSTER - TODAY AT 00:00am
Also I would like something similar for my threads so that they are displayed as follows:
THREAD NAME CREATOR'S NAME # REPLIES/ # VIEWS LAST POSTER'S NAME - TODAY 00:00AM
Does anybody know if this is possible at all?

Does anybody know if this is possible at all? This should be relatively easy in all honesty. We'll start with the boards first. One question though to begin with: where will moderators display?

Hey Stinky! Thanks for the help! Do I have to have the moderators displayed? Is that something that we can just leave out? Or do we have to have them listed? Also, I was just thinking.... if I have them stacked on top of each other it might take up far too much space. Perhaps it would be best if I have them set up as follows: BOARD NAME------------------------------># Replied/ # Views DESCRIPTION------------------------------> LAST POST NAME - --------------------------------------------->BY POSTER @ 00:00AM -lol- Sorry about the arrows...I was just trying to show you what I was picturing.

Moderators can definitely be missed out if that's what you prefer. It's simple to do. I will still put it somewhere and comment it out so in case in the future you do want to show moderators, you can remove the <!-- stuff, and have moderators working fine. Totally forgot about this, and keep doing so, but what about "people viewing"? Would you like that kept to the right side of "board name", so it'd be something like "Board Name - 1 viewing" ?

Nah, I would rather leave the "people viewing" out if I can. I usually disable that feature in PBV4 so definitely leave it out if at all possible.

?Leslie?, I wasn't sure how you wanted the stats section, so I have centered it, but if you wish to change it, after you have pasted the below into your layout templates, go to line 33 and change "center" to "left" or "right". Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board ListReplace everything in there already with the below. <table class="list" role="grid"> <!--<thead> <tr> <th class="icon"></th> <th class="main">Board</th> <th class="threads">Threads</th> <th class="posts">Posts</th> <th class="latest last">Last Post</th> </tr> </thead>--> <tbody> {foreach $[board]} {if !$[board.is_redirect]} <tr id="$[board.content_id]" class="$[board.content_class]"> <td class="icon">$[board.icon]</td> <td class="main clickable"> <span class="link">$[board]</span><!--{if $[board.num_viewing]}<span class="viewing"> - $[board.num_viewing] Viewing</span>{/if}--><br /> <p class="description">$[board.description]</p> {if $[board.sub_board]} <p class="sub-boards"> Sub-board{if $[board.sub_board] != 1}s{/if}: {foreach $[board.sub_board]}<a href="$[board.sub_board.href]">$[board.sub_board.name]</a>$[board.sub_board.comma] {/foreach} </p> {/if} <!--{if $[board.num_mods]} <p class="moderators"> Moderator{if $[board.num_mods] != 1}s{/if}: {foreach $[board.moderator_group]}$[board.moderator_group.comma_before] $[board.moderator_group]{/foreach}{if $[board.moderator]}{if $[board.moderator_group]}, {/if}{/if} {foreach $[board.moderator]}$[board.moderator]$[board.moderator.comma] {/foreach} </p> {/if}--> </td> <td style="text-align:center;"> <span class="threads">{if $[board.posts] == -1} {else}<b>$[board.posts]</b>{/if} Post{if $[board.posts] != 1}s{/if} in {if $[board.threads] == -1} {else}<b>$[board.threads]</b>{/if} Thread{if $[board.threads] != 1}s{/if}</span><br /> <span class="latest last">{if $[board.posts] > 0} {if $[board.last_thread]} $[board.last_thread.recent_link]<br /> by $[board.last_thread.last_post.created_by_user]</span> <span class="date">$[board.last_thread.last_post.date]</span> {/if} {else} No posts have been made on this board. {/if} </td> </tr> {else} <tr id="$[board.content_id]" class="$[board.content_class]"> <td class="icon">$[board.icon]</td> <td class="main clickable redirect last" colspan="4"> <span class="link">$[board]</span><br /> <p class="description">$[board.description]</p> </td> </tr> {/if} {/foreach} {if !$[board]} <tr class="last"><td class="last center" colspan="5">No boards were found.</td></tr> {/if} </tbody> </table>

Stinky666, I was wondering if you could possibly help me with a couple of changes to the code you gave me. Is there a way to edit this so that the entire board cell is just one cell, without inner borders, so that it all appears to be in just the one cell instead of three? See I want to keep the borders on so that it separates the boards themselves, but I don't want the borders on the inside of the board cells. Does that make sense? I'm awful at explaining things...lol. Thanks so much for the code help Stinky, I know you coders are crazy busy with upgrading the codes for V5. So I really appreciate it all! EDIT - Also, is it possible to swap the # of threads and posts around so that # of threads come first? And is it possible to put it below the last post? So that they are at the bottom? So sorry for all of the changes. I don't like being a pain and I feel bad for making you move things around. EDIT 2 - BTW this code is incredibly awesome and I appreciate all of the time you've spent helping me!

Stinky666:
I quickly glanced through Leslie's post.
I have zero tech and no pc knowledge. If my questions are stupid feel free to laugh. Wouldn't reducing the forum's width,reducing the amount of forum columns to one column and then centering accomplish the same goal?
