Hi, is there a way on V5 i can be building a new them on my forum but i don't want it active and showing up on my forum until i have finished putting it all together? I have a test forum, but that means i keep having to transfer all the elements over and that will only be when i have completed the new them.

On the left side you shoudl see checkboxes/radio buttons, for the theme you are working on, click the box so it has no tick in it, so it disables. This will disable it from the profile so nobody (including yourself) can select it as their theme.

If you go to the theme's settings page (accessible from the Theme Manager), you can also set permissions on a theme, so that you can still see it and work on it without anyone else being able to see it.

If you're confused or overwhelmed at all by the process, anconagt, I advise that you install a theme from the library in Admin > Themes > Theme Library, and start making minor changes to that instead of starting from scratch. Over time you'll become more familiar with the interface and it will be far easier to alter your forum to your liking just for knowing where everything is.
