well at one point I tried to get around that by hiding a invisible "BEL" character in the message that would make the pb engine think there was content in the message without there actually BEING content in the message. something might have changed recently that made my workaround not work. its always going to work if you put something in the message before you hit submit however.

-btw... might want to include that in the instructions just in case someone runs into the same issue. I'm almost 100% positive that's what was causing the issue (A message must be posted BEFORE you proceed to do anything else)

once brackets are saved into the key data, you can actually then put something in the message. the problem lies in the fact PB doesnt like empty messages. and the bracket code stores to the post meta data - and not the post itself.

I will look this weekend at why it no longer pushes the BEL character

When the brackets are created than you can't add names to it afterwards, is that correct?
I wanna set up a tourney but can't tell who is participating at the time of creating the tournament, so when people say they want to join I want to add their names to the brackets.
Am I overseeing something?

you should be able to edit a bracket by editing the post and clicking the brackets tab. it will list brackets attached to that post. and you can edit them with the buttons.

I'd like to ask a sidequestion: what does this mean at the plugin page: 'Uses 1 Key'?
I've searched for it here but cant find it, hope you dont mind me asking for it here

it uses a post key to store data.

I just made another post on support as to the status of the bug. I made the code that brings up the tab on a board footer page so you could designate certain boards that show it instead of ALL boards. when you go to edit the post, that board footer section doesnt run. they said it was a bug and it should be fixed soon, but it probably got back-burnered when all the search server stuff started happening.

What I read in it is that it is easy to fix, but they probably won't do that?

Hi there. I have a few questions.

1) I didn't have any problems creating or displaying a bracket when I created the forum and it had a light background and black font for posts. Since creation we've changed the background to black and font to white and now it's difficult to see the bracket.

Is there a setting somewhere to change the background colour of the tournament bracket? The font colour appears to be the same as that of the posts.

2) Is there any word yet on when we'll be able to edit the brackets? Since we're a gaming forum we're really excited to have this feature.

1. on the plugin settings, there is a tab called CSS information. those selectors are what you can add to your forum CSS to change the look of the brackets. so

.TBTourneyTable {background-color: #FF0000}

would turn it red. the post you linked to is not accessible to public.

2. I requested for footer codes to run when editing boards, and Tim Camara and Ryan Roos said it was added in the last batch of changes, but I dont think the push has gone out to the theatres yet. when that push happens, the bracket edit will work again.

This will be good when all is working.. Will we be able to change font color?

My co-admin at my board is excited about this as we are a gaming board and run tournaments..
