Fluid Banner

Sorry if this is the wrong section, could someone create a tutorial on how to do a fluid banner?

Can you describe what you mean by that in a little more detail? (E.g., how it's supposed to function, what it's supposed to look like, etc.)

Hi Tim here's an example of a forum that has it set up perfectly.

smangii.proboards.com/

It looks like Smangii just set it up with a horizontal repeat. 

Go to Admin Area > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS, then go to Header (Top) > Forum Banner > Banner Image, and change Background Repeat to repeat horizontally.

That should achieve the same effect.

Thanks is there a way to set the pixel width of it say if I Wanted a banner to be 30 px wide.

Aka. have your header/banner fluid (100% width like Slightly Insane), and the content (boards, posts etc) to be a different width to that.

Stinky I tried changing that and it seems to have changed the whole board instead of just the banner I set the width to 100%

Did you follow the instructions to add and edit the CSS?
You also add a div to the layout templates.

The way Paul has explained it, is very easy to do. I used it before knowing anything about CSS etc.
Can you confirm what you have done... Is all you have done so far, change your forum's width?
