plugin help

please help i am new at this and have some questions i have looked threw these boards for 3 day and found nothing. I need help with plug in as i would like to add more smilies to the chat or as it is called the shoutbox.

1 do i need to buy plug in space?

2 does anyone have a step by step of how to install the smiles?

You do not need to purchase plugin space to add smiles. Simply go to your Admin Area > Theme Manager, find the theme you want to modify, and click on Images. From here you can add and modify your forum's smiles.
