I am changing my default theme and I would like to put something like this on to the new default theme. can anyone tell me where does it goes That looks like it affects custom pages, so it would go in Admin > Structure > Custom Pages. Click the page you wish to edit, or start a new one, and on the HTML tab, paste the above. I think. Not too sure. I am not familiar with Custom Pages, but that seems the most likely place for it to go.

Stinky666 I have already got it on my default theme you can check it out beyond-australia.boards.net/ but i can work out where to put it on to a new default theme. I know I have to go to themes>layout themes, then where to forum wrapper, or board, or home. I can't even find out where I put it on the default theme.

Custom pages are universally the same on all themes. Since the HTML you posted has a $[zone_3] variable in it, that implies that it belongs in a custom page, not in a layout template.
