My banner I would think is big enough up top it was for V4 when I made it, my problem Is I don't want to see the unsightly gray around it. I know their use to be a code that allowed you to crop the top part to your forum the only problem is I don't know how to do this in V5 or if it is indeed possible, I've been searching around and I haven't really seen this asked about. As for my plug-in problem I'm not sure this is the proper area but it saves a .pbp a type of file I'm not very familiar with at all actually until I tried to download the plug-in I wanted. I was wondering what software do I use to open it and if at all possible can it be downloaded as a different type of file? I don't really know how to use the plug-ins and my attempts weren't very successful.
I personally don't care for some of the new upgrades in V5 they seem a bit over thought and not as elegant in simplicity as V4 was. However that isn't the point, I'm having issues coding my new website because of the upgrade and anyone who is more savvy in V5 than myself who would be willing to help me with my questions and problems would be appreciated. My forum: rainedchaos.boards.net/Thank you for you time I hope I've given you all the necessary information.

regarding plugins:
you download the .pbp file to your computer (or if you are in the library you can install directly to your forum). if you download, you dont need to open the file with anything. simply go into your forum, go to plugin management. click "import plugin". then navigate to where you saved the file and choose. it will put up a little window saying it is being imported. close the window when you are done and, depending on the plugin, choose whatever settings it needs (it will also tell you you have to activate the plugin - you will see it).
