I can't make it show anything that's not already on the page when it loads. Again, you can use HTML in each of your news items. Or even HTML with inline CSS. So both the most recent thread and the most recent member are showing in red by default. And the "welcome newest member" is smaller than the text I changed with HTML. How do I change those? Do the same thing I suggested to both of the spans you placed in your layout templates.

Got it. It seems "last_updated_tread". Should be "last_thread"
That did it.
Thanks Brian, brilliant work

Two questions.
1. How can I fix this error? Invalid request token / possible request forgery (error 1). If you received this message in error, please go back, refresh, and try again. (that is what it says when I try adding the code to center the News Title Bar. I tried on Firefox and Internet Explorer)
2. Also, is there a way to make the News Fader Expand/Collapse?

Would it be possible to have the updated code posted here? Sure. Any HTML you add between the two spans will now also be used in the news fader when it gets pushed into its text rotation. So in the case below, the text will be colored black, use 17px font size, and be bold no matter what. It was perfect and then not. It was fine on my end up until you changed it. Nothing should've required changing a layout template variable. I don't think we're on the same page here. From what I gathered, you wanted the very last thread that was posted in on your forum to show, and you wanted it colored the same as the rest of the text. Am I incorrect in my assumption? Edit: I think you tried to append a change to it right after I did, nullifying my own changes. Two questions. 1. How can I fix this error? Invalid request token / possible request forgery (error 1). If you received this message in error, please go back, refresh, and try again. (that is what it says when I try adding the code to center the News Title Bar. I tried on Firefox and Internet Explorer) 2. Also, is there a way to make the News Fader Expand/Collapse? 1. That's a Support Board question. That error doesn't come as a result of my plugin. 2. Not without recoding it. I've never made an expand/collapse code before, so I'd probably be the wrong dude to ask.

We both did something at the same time.
I had no idea you were in there.
I will not touch the keyboard. Please do whatever you did again.
