I placed the code in my footer global and it looks good but I want to banner to be wider so it looks flush to the forum itself.

Also how do I embed this countdown timer in my thread?

in your forum CSS, put

.countdown .countdown_default, .countdown countdown_reached {width:100%; background-image: none}


there was a default width of 590 because of the animated background that happened when event was reached. if you change the size, the image would tile, so you have to set to none to get rid of image


and do you mean in a post itself?  on tab 2 there are instructions for the syntax

same kind of CSS as above.

there are two states to the timer, countdown_default and countdown_reached

so if you insert CSS for one of those states, it will affect the timers. CSS for a background image is

background-image: url(URL TO IMAGE)

No I gave up on the banner, I'm actually looking to just change the font style/size at this point.

I had regular page countdowns easily done, but I was debating where I wanted to put links for in post countdowns. I think I came up with something viable, but it basically means I wont be able to add anything else into it like custom styling.
