How to delete legend from page layout? Adding a chatlog?

Our site has only two items in the legend, and doesn't really have a purpose.  Is there a way to delete it from the layout?

Also is there a way to add a chatlog to the shoutbox?  The history for shout isn't very long.

Go to Admin Area > Settings > Forum Settings and find the 'Display Legend' option in the 'Info Centers' section.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a 'chatlog', but there is currently no way to extend the number of old shouts shown in the shoutbox. Anyone with the proper permissions can view more old shouts by visiting Admin Area > Settings > Shoutbox.
