I'd like to use a repeating horizontal image for the Nav Tree background rather than a color. I'm fairly sure I can do this with a template modification, but I don't know what to change. Suggestions?

Suggestions? just add this to the bottom of the CSS file for each theme you want to do this on: #navigation-tree{ background-image:url( FULL URL OF BACKGROUND IMAGE); background-repeat:reat-y; } the direct url to the css of any theme is: /admin/themes/1/css replace the 1 with whatever the theme's id is.

I used a translucent png on the Nav Tree, which looks great there, but my dropdown jump list is now transparent, making it difficult to read. Is there any way I can use the solid color #d7c9a7 on the Style Sheet for the background of the list instead? Also, eliminating the border on the Nav Tree means I no longer have arrows. Can I restore JUST the arrows and not the border around the Nav Tree? To see what I'm talking about, please take a look at my test site here: testbyceleste.proboards.com/

Wurd. This should apply a background color to the nav tree lists. This will go at the bottom of your style sheet on that theme.

Thank you so much Richie! this saved me haha (I made a custom semi-transparent bg for my forum but the nav tree was driving me insane, being completely transparent and unreadable) this is the product of your handiwork (Im doing this for ALL my themes with special backgrounds now ^_^ ) attack-ontitan.proboards.com/ Follow up: Do you know how to do it in the participated box too? that would complete my semi-transparency forum-wide
